WHAT IS CHRISTMAS ALL ABOUT? Christmas is the date set aside for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Christians celebrate it on December 25th all over the world. Jesus was not born on December 25th exactly but this date was chosen to coincide with the pagan Roman celebrations honoring Saturnus (Harvest God) and Mithras (Ancient God of Light). The day of this celebrations came just after the winter solstice, that is the shortest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. The celebrations were to make known that winter is not forever. It was a form of worshiping the sun. Jesus was born nearly 2000 years ago. To the Christians, Jesus is the Son of God and the Savior/Saviour of the world. The Christians believe that He came to die for our sins so that we may go to heaven. WHAT DOES THE WORD "CHRISTMAS" MEAN? Christmas actually comes from "Mass of Christ". Every person have bound to given maintenance to his wife,his legitimate or illegitimate minor child and his father or mother .Section 125 of Criminal procedure code has given special protection to daughter it says:-    ''provided that the magistrate may order the father of a minor female child referred to in clause [b] to make such allowance until she attains her majority ,if the magistrate is satisfied that the husband of such minor female child ,if married ,is not possessed of sufficient means:     So every daughter whether legitimate or illegitimate has special right for maintenance .If her husband capable to maintain ,it is his duty and if her husband unable to maintain it is her father duty . The Madhya Pradesh Assembly on Monday unanimously passed a bill awarding death sentence to accused in cases of rape and gangrape of girls below 12 years. Speaking at the assembly, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said the perpetrators raping the minors have no right to live. Chouhan’s statement comes days after the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved death sentence be awarded to rape convicts in cases involving girls of 12 years of age and below. Speaking at the state assembly, the chief minister said, “One (the accused) who rapes 12-year-old girl or minors is not human but demon and they have no right to live.” Chouhan further said that stalking has been made a non-bailable offence in the state.  On November 26, the cabinet approved amendment of the penal code to intensify the punishment awarded to rape convicts besides increasing the fine amount slapped on them. New Delhi:  In a bid to protect Muslim women from misuse of laws that are unfair to the fairer sex, the Narendra Modi government will make " triple talaq " (instant divorce) a non-bailable offence. Top government sources have told  TIMES NOW  that the practice of triple will stand annulled, according to a draft law aimed to curb the practice which continues despite the Supreme Court striking it down. The  Narendra Modi government is planning to bring a bill  in the  Winter Session of Parliament  banning the practice of triple talaq. According to reports, the government will amend the Marriage Act to protect Muslim women and make instant talaq as a non-bailable offence. Three years imprisonment is being mulled for men who will flout the rules. The law will, however, not to be applicable in Jammu and Kashmir.
